Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering Exploration Day will be held on April 17 from 3 – 7 p.m. in person at The Universities at Shady Grove.

Come when you can and leave when you must. Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to pick and choose from a variety of rotating activities including:

  • General information sessions about each program
  • Lab tours and simulations
  • Student organization demonstrations

Heavy hors d’oeuvres and giveaways will be available. Plus, join us and we’ll provide you with a code to waive your $75 UMBC application fee!

Logistics

This event will take place entirely in the Biomedical Sciences and Engineering (BSE) Education Facility at The Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville, Maryland. The check-in table for this event will be located on the first floor of the BSE Facility directly ahead as you enter the front doors. Please begin your visit at the check-in table.

Attendees should plan to park in Traville Gateway Garage (in the gated area) for best access to the USG campus. You will be provided a ticket to waive your parking fee upon check-at the registration table. Please see our event assistance page for additional details.
