UMBC-Shady Grove Professional Programs Spring 2026 New Student Orientation

Virtual new student orientation for UMBC-Shady Grove’s graduate biotechnology, cybersecurity, and data science programs will be held on January 20 at 6 p.m. Orientation is your opportunity to gain the knowledge and tools you need to start your master’s or certificate program with confidence. During the event, you’ll hear from faculty and staff, make academic plans, and ask questions.
Orientation is mandatory for all new UMBC-Shady Grove students. We look forward to welcoming you to our community before classes begin in the Spring!
