Retrievers United: Relationships & Building Community

Welcome Back, UMBC-Shady Grove Retrievers!  Whether you are taking courses in-person, online, or via a hybrid format, we are SO excited to share the Fall 2022 semester with you at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG). As such, we have planned a variety of “Welcome Back, Retrievers!” events that will run throughout the duration of the Fall 2022 semester. Each month, we will host engaging events that we hope will enable you to connect and celebrate your #RetrieverPride with your peers, staff, faculty, family, and friends. We can’t wait for you to join us and we look forward to your participation!

Today’s Event: Retrievers United: Relationships & Building Community

Grab a bite to eat and join the UMBC-Shady Grove Staff to engage in discussions and activities that help promote relationship building and being a part of the UMBC-Shady Grove Community. We will also reflect on barriers that could prevent community building and getting involved such as negative self-talk and imposter syndrome.

This event will be held in person at UMBC-Shady Grove, Building III-2220.
