Biotechnology Symposium: Push Through: Using Networking, Allyship, and Mentoring for a Successful Bench Career

Engage with representatives from Montgomery College, Frederick Community College, and UMBC as well as local biotechnology industry leaders though our Training & Employment in Biotechnology virtual symposium!

This semester-long symposium will take place online (via Zoom) from 4:00 – 4:45 pm on select Monday afternoons throughout the spring semester. Sessions will focus on a variety of topics related to the intersection of viruses, vaccines, and the biotech industry.

This week’s session is: Push Through: Using Networking, Allyship, and Mentoring for a Successful Bench Career.   With a focus on the underrepresentation of women and minorities as bench level scientists and supervisors, and how to obtain the skills both hard and soft by leveraging organizations like WIB, NSBE, and other organizations. Presented by Kaneal Oliver Keels, CEO and Founder, Immunovation.
