Retriever for a Day, an in-person event for prospective undergraduate students, will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 5 – 7 p.m. at The Universities at Shady Grove.
Follow in the paw prints of a Retriever and find out what it’s really like to be an undergraduate student at UMBC-Shady Grove at Retriever for a Day.
Retriever for a Day will be held in person at The Universities at Shady Grove. This flexible event will allow you to discover life as a UMBC-Shady Grove student. Come when you can and leave when you must—throughout the event, you will have the opportunity to:
- Hear micro-talks from faculty members in programs that interest you
- Speak with UMBC-Shady Grove Peer Advisors and other current students about their experiences
- Gain information about the application process and funding your education
- Learn more about our student resources
- Go on a USG campus tour
