Free Grad App Week
May 27 - June 3
UMBC is waiving the $50 application fee for master’s and doctoral programs May 27 – June 3, 2026. Free Graduate Application Week is open to all domestic and international graduate degree-seeking applicants.
How It Works:
- Select from one of UMBC’s master’s or doctoral degree programs and review your program’s application requirements.
- Complete the reminder form to receive your fee waiver code via email on May 27.
- Complete and submit the UMBC graduate application between 12:00am EST May 27 and 11:59pm EST June 3, 2026.
Master’s Scholarship for Maryland Residents
Apply to any UMBC master’s degree program and be automatically considered for one of 70+ competitive $2000 scholarships upon admission. The award will be applied to the first two years of your enrollment – $500 per semester for a total of four semesters. This scholarship can be used in combination with the $1,000 UMBC Alumni Scholarship – available to all graduates regardless of residency.
